Why “Whole House”?

For over a decade we have heard about the “two houses” of the Hebraic movement.  Unfortunately, during our time in the Hebraic we’ve seen more damage done that promotes division than restoration.  Most “two housers” long for the restoration of Israel.  The joining of the northern and southern kingdoms back to the point of unity is how most of us would define the fulfillment of restoration.  Sadly, many of us have forgotten the key element in becoming “righteous”.  Righteousness was reckoned unto Abraham for one, and only one thing…his faith.  Our brothers, regardless of their “house” have placed their faith in the God of the Bible.  While both camps have some things that may not be accurate, both camps rely solely on their faith in their God.  It just so happens that the Jesus of the NT and the YHWH of the OT are one and the same.  I am not suggesting that a person who denies Yeshua as their savior is redeemed, but I am saying that the same person’s faith is accredited to them as righteousness by YHWH.  One says they needn’t keep God’s laws to be “saved”, but they have unwavering faith in Jesus.  The other refuses to believe in the Jesus of the NT as they understand that He taught against the keeping of God’s law.  Yeshua came doing away with religion and traditions of men, not the Torah.  It is your faith in Him that causes you to be deemed righteous before God.  Those of us who have been in the hebraic tend to forget that our brothers still in traditional church still have the faith needed in Messiah to be redeemed.   We have to stop poking people in the eye while we attempt to show them where they are wrong so that they can see the truth better.  We need to accept our brothers with love for their faith and their walk, and put down the need to be right.  Whole House is about this kind of interaction and love.  Its about the unity of our faith in our Redeemer.  Our faith in Jesus/Yeshua.  Our brothers, and sisters, who have committed their heart to Him are just as righteous.  May we never boast or elevate ourselves in thinking our righteousness is better or more evident.  Our righteousness is as filthy rags if we think it comes from our obedience.  Our righteousness comes by our faith in Him, and then and only  then is it true righteousness.  Anything else is pride.

MOSES’ TABERNACLE
SANCTUARY TOUR

FREE

SEPTEMBER 6-14, 2014
1:00PM – 7:00PM

This limited exhibit offers Cherokee County and surrounding areas the opportunity to learn about God’s expression of love through the ancient sanctuary. Travel back over 3,000 years into the desert between Egypt and Palestine where more than two million people banded together to build a tabernacle for their God. Each article of the tabernacle had real significance to the Hebrew people and this tour will bring each symbol to life.

The command was communicated to Moses while in the mount with God, “Let them make Me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them;” and full directions were given for the construction of the tabernacle.

No language can describe the glory of the scene presented within the sanctuary—the gold-plated walls reflecting the light from the golden candlestick, the brilliant hues of the richly embroidered curtains with their shining angels, the table, and the altar of incense, glittering with gold; beyond the second veil the sacred ark, with its mystic cherubim, and above it the holy Shekinah, the visible manifestation of Jehovah’s presence; all but a dim reflection of the glories of the temple of God in heaven, the great center of the work for man’s redemption.

Thus in the ministration of the tabernacle, and of the temple that afterward took its place, the people were taught each day the great truths relative to Christ’s death and ministration, and once each year their minds were carried forward to the closing events of the great controversy between Christ and Satan, the final purification of the universe from sin and sinners.

The video link below shows more detail on the amount of work that has gone into this project, as well as how the Tabernacle points us to Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus the Messiah).

Brad Scott August 29th and 30th

Brad Scott of Wildbranch Ministry will be teaching on Erev Shabbat, August 29th and on Shabbat, August 30th, 2014.

Brad’s teachings are truly “meat and potatoes” messages.  His witty and humorous delivery make him one of the most sought after Hebraic Roots teachers of the day, and we consider ourselves very blessed to have him come up to our neck of the woods.  Considered by many to be the modern day Paul, Brad brings a much deeper understanding of the Scriptures through his insightful knowledge of Hebrew.

Brad’s ministry is based upon Romans Chapter 11. YHWH has reached out to the nations and grafted wild branches from among the nations into the natural olive tree. The natural olive tree is the covenant people of YHWH, beginning with the seed of the woman in Bere’shiyt (Genesis) 3:15. The natural and wild branches share a common root and both take their nutrition and sustenance from this very old natural tree.  As wild branches, we have been grafted in, contrary to our nature that has been mixed with the ways of the nations.

The organized Christian church has, for two millennia, cut herself off from her roots. The modern church has, instead, planted an entirely new tree. This tree has rejected the fruit of YHWH’s feasts, His Shabbat, His Torah, His dietary laws, and even His Name.

The WildBranch focus is to restore the ways of our Creator to His people by teaching the Old and New Testaments from the language and culture of the people who penned them. The New Testament is crammed full of idioms, phrases, and concepts known to the observant Jew (Yehudim) living in the time of Yeshua’s ministry, but unfamiliar to modern readers. The Scriptures must be read through the eyes and minds of the culture in which it was written. (Information pulled from wild branch.org)

To learn more about Brad, you can visit his website HERE.

The marketplace will open on Friday afternoon from 4PM to 8PM.  (This will be your only opportunity to buy material from Brad as the marketplace will not be open on Shabbat.)  All of his materials are also available on line.  You can browse his teachings HERE.  I have enjoyed every single one on of Brad’s teachings that I purchased.  His teachings are well worth their price as they contain incredible amounts of research, details, and revelational understanding.

Mike Clayton-August 3rd, 2014

SEE RECENT POST FOR UPDATED SCHEDULE

WHM is excited to announce that Mike Clayton of Joined to HaShem Ministries will be teaching on the Tabernacle Sunday, August 3rd, 2014.  We will be meeting at the Brasstown Community Center starting at 2pm.

To register for the event click HERE.

There will be 3 sessions with the first starting at 2pm.

The second starting at 4pm.

The last session starting at 6pm.

In this session, Mike will review key points from the first two sessions, and then everyone will be able to walk through the steps of approaching the Holy of Holies.  This is a very impactful process, and all are encouraged to draw close to our Father.

Times are subject to change.

For the evening session, we are requesting that everyone bring  their own “dinner in a bag” (much like a sack lunch) as there are not any restaurants close by.  We are also requesting that each family bring one extra bag dinner for someone who may have forgotten to bring one.  This will allow us to keep the teaching times close together, and allow everyone to fellowship during our evening break prior to the last session.  Because this is an open invitation event, we are not prepared to have a covered dish type of meal as we do not know how many people will be in attendance.
